New Voices, Familiar Hits: A night of stories behind the songs you know by heart
This year, Rivers Rutherford brings with him two fresh faces to the Songwriter’s Round stage - acclaimed Nashville hitmakers Tim Nichols and Jim Beavers.
Tim Nichols is the Grammy-winning writer behind chart-toppers like “Live Like You Were Dying” (Tim McGraw), “The Man I Want To Be” (Chris Young), and “Heads Carolina, Tails California” (Jo Dee Messina).
Jim Beavers, known for his clever lyrics and crowd favorites, has penned hits like “Red Solo Cup” (Toby Keith), “Drink a Beer” (Luke Bryan), and co-wrote “Parachute” with Chris Stapleton. These two songwriting legends bring new energy, unforgettable stories, and a whole lot of heart to this year’s event.
