New Voices, Familiar Hits: A night of stories behind the songs you know by heart

This year, Rivers Rutherford brings with him two fresh faces to the Songwriterโ€™s Round stage - acclaimed Nashville hitmakers Tim Nichols and Jim Beavers.

Tim Nichols is the Grammy-winning writer behind chart-toppers like โ€œLive Like You Were Dyingโ€ (Tim McGraw), โ€œThe Man I Want To Beโ€ (Chris Young), and โ€œHeads Carolina, Tails Californiaโ€ (Jo Dee Messina).

Jim Beavers, known for his clever lyrics and crowd favorites, has penned hits like โ€œRed Solo Cupโ€ (Toby Keith), โ€œDrink a Beerโ€ (Luke Bryan), and co-wrote โ€œParachuteโ€ with Chris Stapleton. These two songwriting legends bring new energy, unforgettable stories, and a whole lot of heart to this yearโ€™s event.
